What is Swapn in 2026?
Swapn is an online accounting firm (cabinet d'expertise comptable), registered with the Ordre des experts-comptables (the professional body of French chartered accountants), that supports company founders and then keeps their books. Its offer comes in two stages: the formation of your company (SASU, SAS, EURL or SARL), billed at €0 by Swapn excl. legal fees, then online accounting from €29 excl. VAT (HT) per month. The company claims more than 15,000 entrepreneurs supported.
Its principle is the dedicated adviser: you have an identified contact, a 30-minute call to choose your legal form, and a call-back in under 5 minutes during opening hours (Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 7 pm, Friday from 9 am to 6 pm). This is what comes out most in customer reviews.
Swapn is aimed at businesses registered in France (foreign freelancers based in France included).

For €0 (rate checked on swapn.fr in October 2026), Swapn prepares the complete file and the articles of association, publishes the legal notice, guarantees no rejection by the registry, registers your company with the Guichet unique (the single online business-formalities portal) and obtains the Kbis (company registration extract). The articles are sent within 24 hours and, according to Swapn, a single-member company is set up on average within 10 days between first contact and the Kbis. The service has no commitment.
Two clarifications. The 30-minute phone appointment is mandatory: free, but unavoidable. And the €0 does not include the mandatory legal fees (registry, legal notices, capital deposit). Swapn can advance them at no extra cost and re-invoice them to you to the cent after the Kbis, provided you sign up to the Tiime Smart business account.
Accounting: €29 or €39?
This is the point that requires careful reading. Swapn accounting is €29 excl. VAT per month if you combine it with a Tiime business account, and €39 excl. VAT per month if you keep another business account, with no commitment in either case. The Tiime Smart business account is free for 6 months and then billed at €17.99 excl. VAT per month, billed annually. In other words, the €29 entry rate has to be read with the business account next to it.
What is included: VAT returns filed by an accountant, the balance sheet prepared by a chartered accountant (expert-comptable) and the tax return package (liasse fiscale) filed online, automated bookkeeping (bank sync, AI categorisation), accountants reachable by phone, video, chat and email, and compliant e-invoicing via the Tiime Accredited Platform (Plateforme Agréée). You can take out the accounting without having set up your company with Swapn.

On Trustpilot, Swapn shows 4.8/5 on 580 reviews as of 7 October 2026, including 286 over the last twelve months: a large and recent volume. Many customers name their adviser by first name and praise the responsiveness, the clarity of the process and the speed (a Kbis in one to two weeks comes up often). On Google, Swapn's listing shows 4.9/5 on 900 reviews (as of 7 October 2026).
Criticism is rare but specific, and it ties in with the pricing point: a 1-star review complains about a €29 display when "the real price" would be €39, and mentions fees that add up. To read the rating with perspective: according to Trustpilot, Swapn regularly invites its customers to leave a review and replies to 33% of its negative reviews.
What we like less
Three reservations. First, the readability of the pricing: the €29 depends on the Tiime business account, and so does the advance of legal fees, two links you only understand by reading the footnotes. Second, the ecosystem: invoicing and the business account go through Tiime, so if you already have your business account, accounting costs you €10 more per month. Finally, the scope: Swapn is designed for company founders and liberal professions, and a simple micro-entreprise will often manage with a cheaper accounting app.
