Blank is an online business account designed for freelancers and self-employed people: a French IBAN, a Visa Business card, SEPA transfers and, above all, built-in management tools. From the cheapest plan, you get a quote and invoice tool, receipt and expense report scanning, an accounting export and automated Urssaf (French social security contributions) filing, with your contributions calculated and paid from the app. Blank is designed for businesses registered in France (a foreign freelancer based in France included).
It is an online bank for freelancers and micro-entrepreneurs who want to bring their account, invoicing and filings together. That is also why the support deserves a close look: a bank account is judged above all on the day something goes wrong.
Here is what Blank's pricing page shows (as of October 2026, excl. VAT (HT), no free plan). Simple costs €6 excl. VAT per month: 30 SEPA transfers, quotes and invoices, automated Urssaf filing, receipt scanning. Confort costs €17 excl. VAT: everything in Simple, plus 60 SEPA transfers, phone support 5 days a week, higher card limits and income-maintenance cover. Complète costs €39 excl. VAT: unlimited transfers and support 6 days a week.
Beyond the quota, each SEPA transfer costs €1 excl. VAT, as does each ATM withdrawal (capped at €3,000 a month). Blank does not handle cash deposits or cheque collection. Income-maintenance cover is not included in the Simple plan: if it matters to you, count on €17 excl. VAT.

On Trustpilot, Blank shows 3.7/5 ("Average") from 1,120 reviews as of 7 October 2026, 56 of them in the last twelve months. We found no usable Google listing. Positive reviews cite good prices, a nicely designed card, responsive support for some and the benefit of seeing your balance in real time.
The criticism is plentiful and goes to the heart of a bank account. Several customers describe support that is hard to reach after card fraud, repeated document requests, account openings refused without a detailed explanation and account closures seen as unjustified, with closing fees mentioned. Others regret monthly transfer limits that are too low and app bugs in invoicing. These are customer testimonials on Trustpilot, which we cannot verify individually.
To read this rating in context: according to Trustpilot, Blank regularly invites its customers to leave a review, but has not replied to negative reviews.
Three reservations. First, support: for a bank account, the feedback on fraud and closures is worrying, and phone support only comes with the €17 excl. VAT plan. Then the limits of the service: no cash or cheques, card and transfer limits to watch. Finally the risk of dependence: if your account is blocked or closed, you lose access to your invoicing and your Urssaf filing. Keeping a backup second account is a reasonable precaution.

Ratings and feedback from public platforms, not a FreelanceKit score
Blank has good arguments on paper: a business account from €6 excl. VAT a month, with invoicing and automated Urssaf filing. We recommend it to a freelancer who wants a low-cost all-in-one tool. But for a bank account, support matters: Trustpilot reviews (3.7/5 from 1,120 reviews, no replies to negative reviews) report difficulties after fraud, refused account openings or closures without explanation. Do not choose it as your only account if you need very responsive support.

Try BlankBlank shows 3.7/5 ("Average") on Trustpilot from 1,120 reviews (as of 7 October 2026), 56 of them in the last twelve months. Three plans with no free option, excl. VAT: Simple at €6 a month, Confort at €17 and Complète at €39. Each SEPA transfer beyond the quota costs €1 excl. VAT, and each ATM withdrawal €1 excl. VAT (Blank's pricing page, October 2026).
30 SEPA transfers a month, the quote and invoice tool, automated Urssaf filing, receipt and expense report scanning, with a French IBAN and a Visa Business card. Phone support and income-maintenance cover start with the Confort plan.
It provides a French IBAN and a Visa Business card, but no cash deposits or cheque collection, and several reviews describe unresponsive support after an incident. Keeping a backup second account is prudent.
