What is LegalPlace in 2026?

LegalPlace is a French platform for setting up and running a business. A dedicated specialist (formaliste) handles the formation of your company (SASU, SAS, SARL, EURL, SCI) or micro-entreprise, then you can add online accounting, a registered address, a business account and insurance, all in the same app. The company claims more than 300,000 entrepreneurs supported.

For a freelancer, the appeal is delegating the formalities and bringing several services together in one place. The trade-off is that you need to look at the final price for your legal form, not just the entry price.

LegalPlace is aimed at businesses registered in France (foreign freelancers based in France included).

Pricing

Here is what LegalPlace's pricing page shows (checked in October 2026). Company formation starts at €0 excl. VAT (HT), excluding legal fees (court registry and legal notice). Accounting (ComptaPlace) starts at €39 excl. VAT per month, the registered address at €17 excl. VAT per month, the business account at €6.90 excl. VAT per month (with a free share capital deposit and a Mastercard Corporate card), professional insurance at €9 incl. VAT (TTC) per month, and amendment of articles of association or dissolution at €59 excl. VAT. E-invoicing is offered from €8.25 per month, with no commitment and a 20-day trial.

Timelines and what you get

According to LegalPlace, the Kbis (company registration extract) arrives on average 8 days after a complete file, with variations by département. For a micro-entreprise, formalities are started within 24 hours with the express option, and the SIREN number arrives within 5 to 20 days. The company also highlights protection against rejection by the registry, a share capital deposit certificate within 12 hours, a chartered accountant (expert-comptable) with unlimited advice and a business account with payments up to €20,000 per month.

What users say

On Trustpilot, LegalPlace shows 4.4/5 ("Excellent") on 13,782 reviews as of 7 October 2026, including 3,381 over the last twelve months, which gives an exceptional recent volume. On Google, the listing shows 4.3/5 on 16,071 reviews. Customers praise the speed of the formalities (one review mentions an SCI created in a few days), the human support and clear exchanges with the accountants.

There is criticism. Several reviews describe variable response times and uneven follow-up when a problem arises. One customer reports that an adviser gave wrong information about re-creating a micro-entreprise, before leading them to use their 14-day withdrawal right. To read these ratings with perspective: according to Trustpilot, LegalPlace regularly invites its customers to leave a review, which pushes the volume up, and it replies to 99% of its negative reviews.

What we like less

Three reservations. First, the final price: the entry price is published, but the real cost depends on the legal form and options, so compare like for like. Second, the follow-up: if you have an unusual case, reviews mention slow or inaccurate answers, and it is better to check with the administration what you are told over the phone. Finally, the scope: LegalPlace is a formalities platform, not a law firm for tailored advice.
