MagicPost is an AI tool built only for LinkedIn: it helps you write posts, schedule them, track their analytics and spot leads. Its central promise is voice: you import your old posts or those of creators you admire, and the drafts follow your tone rather than reading like generic text. The vendor claims 100,000+ users.

For a freelancer looking for clients on LinkedIn, the real problem is consistency. A tool like this does not replace a strategy, but it cuts the time spent writing. That is what we look at here: what it does, what it costs, what users say about it.

What MagicPost does

On the writing side, you pick a topic or a document, set the tone (formal or informal, emojis, structure) and the tool offers several versions you rework. An idea and hook generator rounds it out, with a library of high-engagement posts for inspiration. On the tracking side, you get your impressions, followers gained, best posts, comment replies and lead detection.

The LinkedIn connection is worth mentioning: MagicPost states it goes through LinkedIn's official API (OAuth connection), with no browser extension or cookies, which limits the risk of account suspension according to the vendor. It is the vendor's statement, but the point matters for someone who depends on their LinkedIn profile.

Pricing

Here is what MagicPost's pricing page shows (checked in October 2026, in dollars). For an individual, the Growth plan costs $29 per month billed yearly ($49 monthly): manual writing and scheduling, advanced metrics, engagement and lead detection. The Pro plan, presented as the most popular, costs $39 per month billed yearly ($69 monthly) and adds unlimited post generation, AI visuals, carousels, the idea generator, the inspiration library and comment scheduling.

There is no permanent free plan, but a free trial with no credit card. For agencies, the Agency plan is billed per seat (one seat per client account) with post approval and white-label reports. Teams go through seat packs, from 2 members.

What users say

On Trustpilot, MagicPost shows 4.7/5 ("Excellent") over 91 reviews as of 7 October 2026. Positive feedback mentions a style close to their own, the writing quality, fast onboarding and real time saved on days without inspiration. Several users also note the option to start from a document or adjust the tone.

To read this rating with perspective: the volume is modest, with only 6 reviews over the last twelve months, most reviews date from 2025, several carry the "Redirected" label and, according to Trustpilot, the company has not recently invited its customers to review. We found no usable Google listing. MagicPost's website shows a Google rating of 4.8 over 430 reviews, but that is a vendor figure we cannot verify: we do not keep it.

What we like less

Three reservations. First the scope: MagicPost only works for LinkedIn, so if you also want to publish on X or Instagram, you will need another tool. Then the plan structure: unlimited post generation and carousels are reserved for the Pro plan, which takes the real cost from $29 to $39 per month for anyone who wants AI without limits. Finally perspective: few recent reviews and almost no critical feedback, which makes the limits hard to pin down. Use the free trial before committing.
